It comes with 11 height adjustments to fit almost any mattress size and adjustable folding feet to ensure that it sits exactly at the right height.

    The cot is cushioned and has mesh sides to increase the airflow, and the mattress is made of high-density foam to provide extra protection. It can also be cleaned which means you can keep the cot clean. It is fitted with a bed sheet that is suitable for a crib.

    Unlike some other bedside cribs unlike other cribs for bedside use, the Roomie Glide is suitable for the majority of beds, including divans, thanks to its straps and clip attachment. It can be used as a stand-alone crib if it isn’t connected to the bed. It is packed with wonderful features designed with parent and baby bonding in mind.

It is also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.

    It’s made from soft materials and has breathable mesh sides to promote airflow. It comes in oak or charcoal with a variety of melange fabrics that will blend with most decor styles. Anna found it solid and secure when it was attached to her bed with the legs firmly snapping into the bed and the zips secured for baby-safety. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put it together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions along with a video and customer support number in case you experience any issues.

    The CoZee crib has all the features you’d think of in a crib for your bed, including the ability to connect it to your existing bed using a stay-in place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. Additionally there is an inclines feature that can be used to help babies suffering from reflux or congestion. It’s also machine-washable, which is a must for all the dribbles, vomit and snot that come with having a newborn!

    If you want to keep your baby close to you during the first six months of their life when they’re able to go to sleep on their own and independently, the CoZee is a great choice as it can also be used as a standalone cot, changing table or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa-bed extension kit, it can be transformed into an actual cot. While it won’t magically put your baby to sleep or feed them, it can rock them and send them off.

    The Chicco Next2Me Magic

    This is one of Chicco’s more expensive alternatives. However, it has numerous excellent features. It’s designed to function as a side sleeper or standalone crib and is suitable for babies up to six months. It’s easy to open and close the side panel using the new mechanism. It is also more adjustable than the previous model, with 11 different height settings and legs that retract to installation underneath any bed.

    Our testers were impressed by the ease of access offered by the side panel, which can be moved upwards and down with one click of a button. This was especially helpful in the evening when feeding time was over, since they could reach inside and pick up their baby without disturbing them up.

    It is possible to lower the side panel by it’s own, however this is not recommended as it increases the risk that your baby will get out of the cot. It’s small enough to be able to fit in a travel bag when not in use which is an advantage when you have to transport it. The only downside our testers noticed was that the side panel didn’t flex as much as some of the other models, making it slightly harder to see your baby from your own bed.

    If you’re in search of an ideal bedside crib that can grow with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth a look. It’s a sleeper crib that attaches securely to your bed and can be converted into a chic cot when your baby is old enough.
