Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with an application that is specifically designed for. You can save your home’s maps and organize cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.
A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into wires, furniture, or stray toys. These features are crucial for my home filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it is naturally with a host of features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and even lift its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don’t get wet. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pets, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vacuum we’ve tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its location, preventing it from becoming stuck on objects.
The mopping function is impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in an intense clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it goes from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn’t too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I’ve tested.
It’s a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it’s expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this model if you can justify the cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combination. Its price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos available. In best robot vacuum cleaner , it performed well throughout the entire home. It removed 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and was able to lift hair that was long without tangling. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models due to their rotational motion and an incredibly strong cleaning solution.
The docking station is the primary selling point of the L10S Ultra. It’s multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry the mop pads for you. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tested. Additionally the mops aren’t capable at scrubbing away tough stains like those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned out, and the water and dust tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to note that the mop pads, that are bought separately, are required to be replaced periodically too.
With the L10S Ultra’s pricey cost and robust features, I would recommend it to anyone who has the money for it. For those who are on a smaller budget, I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could find, its high price and ongoing maintenance will make it more of an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It is also equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself, making it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept away into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank’s heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a good amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
Like many robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. The S1 Pro will need to be filled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. If you’d like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you decide to use this feature however, you’ll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands allowing users to select their own choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map the space and moved around furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers lots of features at a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has some impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot’s dirtbag and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of a space before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum’s high suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair on carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is quite complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start a full map and clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you’ve set up. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the space.
Like the other Roborock models we’ve examined The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system performs well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized manner. Its ‘Normal” pathing setting covers an area well, and doesn’t leave any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective, though it’s not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but may not be able detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.
The machine has a major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There’s a simple solution to this issue: The app offers an option that allows you to “clean up” at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you use the mopping function of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of debris and dust left behind by your vacuuming. It’s a nice touch, and it helps the robot get rid of a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
